I love winter. I love the snow, I love the rosy cheeks and pink noses on people when they come in from outside, I love the silence after a deep snowfall. So when I showed up to, basically, Narnia on this session, well let's just say I probably embarrassed myself. And the perfect snowy backdrop was nothing on how giddy and in love these two were. It was such a sweet, special session and I felt so lucky to capture this romantic walk through the falling snow with these two lovebirds.
Matt and Emily were living with a whole ocean between them when they got engaged. He was in Germany, she was in Arkansas. But, as anyone who has spend even five minutes with these two can attest, their love knew no bounds and could easily reach across oceans. Spending a warm evening with these two in the dying sunlight was quite possibly actual magic. We were able to stop by the spot where they had their first kiss, where she promptly planted another one on him. I cannot wait for their wedding day this spring!
Matt and Emily followed me from Germany to Arkansas and were the first people to hire me after our big move, and they are also the first people to officially hire me to shoot their wedding. I am beyond excited, as weddings have been something I've been wanting to move into forever, and completely honored. I couldn't have picked a better couple for my first wedding!
